Founded in 1843 by the Christian brothers, the school was located opposite of St Patrick’s church on MacMahon Street. Originally a boys’ school, it became fully co-ed in 1966.
Modern day St Patrick’s HS is nondenominational but retains its Irish spirit. Commonly called St Pat’s, this school is known for its avant-garde teaching and its unique atmosphere.
